Hi. I have a 4-year-old Nokia 7610 for sale, still in very good condition but with a broken clip on the back cover which I'm not sure I can replace owing to the fact that this phone is almost 4 years old now. I'm hoping to sell for no less than $150 if at all possible. Also, at the moment, this phone only has one of the very earliest versions of Talks Standard 2.54 installed, but for an extra $25, I am willing to crossgrade that to the latest Talks 4.0 for whoever is interested in purchasing this phone, however, it also needs a firmware upgrade which I could also do, but that will mean losing Talks, so I'd strongly reccomend that the buyer obtains sighted help, firstly, to update the phone software then go to www.talknav.com, a dedicated 24-hour service for everything accessible to do with mobile phones, where they can have the latest Talks installed within 10 minutes. Its as easy as that. I just did it myself with the help of my partially sighted partner on my new Nokia N96 but mind you have the Emei and Talks serial numbers to hand when you install the new Talks. You can use the serial number already provided with the Talks which is already installed on this phone. Still, if anybody is interested in this phone, then don't hesitate to Pqn, Private, Private Message me or Email me here on The Zone. As this phone could go to somebody overseas from the UK where I'm based, I am only accepting payments via Paypal. Email address is jenpentire@hotmail.com. Shipping costs also available on request.
Thank you.

hi jen: i think you might be asking a bit much for that phone imho. seventy five quid is quite a lot in gbp. just my thoughts.
Are you serious? A 4 year old phone with an outdated version of Talks for $150, not including shipping. The N95 is down to less than 300 dollars in some places and, you guessed it, it is new, infinitely better and does not have a broken clip on the back.
If you get someone to buy this that's fine, but I just have to post when I think someone is trying out for a daylight rubbery, if someone wants to buy my 8gb usb memory stick for $400 they can pq me, even if they can get it at buy.com for $15.
cheers

Brew here. Definitely wouldn't be selling this for anywhere near $75... Old broken phone which is seriously outdated.
i agree with both of these posts. sheieiet. i wouldn't sell that for more than £50 and throw in the talks for free. four years old?
Well, all right, I'll take it down to £50.
Jen.
How much is that in US currency, and would that even work here with Sprint?
It'd be somewhere around $100 with shipping, around $70 without it, I think, you can see the current exchange rate at www.xe.com for instance.
Yes, the phone should work with any phone company, you just get the corresponding card with your phone number and such and pop it into the phone, I do it all the time with my Nokia E60, when I go to Europe I use an Icelandic card but at&t when I get back to the U.S.
Whether a 4 year old phone is worth that riwk for that amount has to be your decission, I won't say one way or the other.
Wo! Cheers Brew, and for those picky Zoners giving me up as a bad job earlier in this topic, I have found a black replacement facia for the 7610, so that should help add a little extra gold to the current $100/£50 price tag.
